Endurance training has been well-established as an effective way to boost muscle oxygen supply.

bio-availability and endothelial activation in sickle cell patients and healthy individuals.
An NGO that works to share Love, Hope, Care and Awareness about Sickle Cell Disease to reduce stigma and Discrimination and create opportunities for people living with Sickle Cell Disease.
Kevin is an 18 year old sickle cell warrior who happened to drop out of school at a tender age due to stigma, discrimination and criticism brought about by his physical appearance. Kevin stated that finding a permanent place to live and starting up a small scale business can improve his economic need living as a warrior.
Hawa is a 5yr old warrior not only battling with sickle cell disease but also was abandoned and disowned by her father because of her health condition. Hawa has no home nor does she go to school due to the poor economic condition of her single mother. Hawa moves place to place to spend a night. She is very brilliant.
Prossy is 14 years old and lives with her single mother. She not only faces discrimination and criticism from her fellow students but has no sickle cell medication to keep her healthy. This has affected her health and her mother can no longer afford to support her and the future seems shattered.
Brendah Awooli, 17, who stays with her mother in Seeta notes that while at Namwanga primary school Tororo where they used to stay, teachers failed to understand her situation and continued to punish her whenever she skipped days without attending school and at times when she turned up late for classes.
Achenge's standard of living is really terrible as medication is not the only challenge but also food and beddings were a challenge. Achenges mother has been working in village farms to support her child but this is currently no more. Let us join hands and hearts to improve their lives.
